Your account

When you sign in with Google, HO receives your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier to create or identify your HO account. HO requests basic sign-in information only. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts.

Email accounts use your name and email address, a securely hashed password, and verification or password-reset records. Session cookies keep you signed in. Account data and private cloud-library records are stored using Cloudflare services.

Your reading library

Your saved readings, notes, collections, reading and listening progress, and keepsakes are stored on your device. When you sign in, HO synchronizes this library to your account so you can continue on another device. Items already collected on the device may be added to the account when synchronization first starts. Your cloud library is private to your HO account.

HO uses browser storage for local reading data, synchronization checkpoints and recovery copies. Signing out clears the active account library from the visible workspace; recovery copies may remain in browser storage. On a shared device, clear the site's browser data if you also want to remove these copies.

Use and control

HO uses account information to provide sign-in, verification, account recovery and private synchronization. Cloudflare processes requests and stores account data as the service provider. Resend receives the destination email address and verification or password-reset message to deliver account emails. Google handles Google authentication under its own privacy policy. HO does not sell your Google account information or private reading library.

You can remove items in HO and synchronize those changes, update your profile, sign out, or revoke Google access in your Google Account connections. Revoking Google access does not itself delete your HO account. To request access to or deletion of your HO account and cloud data, contact Rubazabu Studio. Account data remains stored until it is removed through the service or an account-deletion request is completed.
